Puddles' First Birthday Party

After a long month of sickness in March with Isaac getting the flu and Natalie getting a bad case of the cold, both kids got better just in time for their birthday party. We celebrated the twins' first last weekend with our families and they had a blast.

Sarah has been looking forward to decorating for a long time and decided on Mickey and Minnie mouse themed decorations using the Disney colors throughout.

We printed off a pictorial timeline of their last 11 months and hung it in our dining room.

Yes, Sarah even found highchair signs . . . Good ole Etsy.

Sarah had a cake designed as a Mickey head. We ate the face and the kids smashed the ears (smashing to follow).

Our First Tom's shoes - Thank you Uncle Ian and Aunt Leslie!

My parents worked so hard the day before putting this swing set together for the kids. Thanks Papa Gene and Gramma Carol, we love swinging!

Thank you Papa and Gram for the Wagon - we are so excited for our summer park dates.

Natalie did not want to get her hands dirty, so she enjoyed cake with her spoon.

Memaw (great grandmom) visited the twins on their birthday as well. It was great to have her there.

It is truly amazing that a year has already passed. We feel so blessed with every moment we have had with each of these precious gifts from God. We have had so many memories this year that we will remember forever. From the many sleepless nights to the many adventurous days, we have had a blast. Isaac and Natalie are so precious to us and we look forward to what this upcoming year has in store.
