Puddles for 1 week + 1 day

Wow . . . I can't believe that we have already had our twins for one full week! We have been truly blessed and have had so much fun already with our new boy and girl.

They have both already learned how to hold their own pacifiers, "coo" at each other, and open their eyes to look at us and each other. They have smitten their grandparents, uncles, and aunts and shown what a gift from God they are.

Isaac gave us a scare Sunday night when his body temperature decreased to 95.6 degrees after giving him a sponge bath. It didn't help that a T-Storm came through our area and knocked out our power for close to an hour. His temp eventually raised to a comfortable level but not until we wrapped him up in blankets, called the pediatrician, and considered heading to Urgent Care. Ah . . . the life of a parent.
