Natalie and Isaac have included "play time" in their daily activities of eating and sleeping. It has been quite enjoyable to see their excitement in discovering new things. We have a Play Gym where they primarily lay on their backs. The gym plays very entertaining music with the option of rotating a mobile or flashing lights that oscillate with the music (my favorite).
Quite frequently I get down to their level and watch the blinky lights or roving mobile. They think I'm weird but it's fun getting their perspective on life. We have also introduced tummy time to them but being the early stages it is still quite a struggle for them. They still do not have total head control so we're trying to help build those muscles while we hold them or during tummy time.

They are looking much older these days! So cute! Emerson wants a play date soon!
